About

Hi!
My name is Chris. That’s me over there on the right.

You can choose to learn about me in either list, short or extended format.

List

Below are some interesting things about me. For the most part, these things are not in order.

  • I was born in the mid-80′s, which makes me somewhere around a quarter-century old.
  • Politics seem really strange to me. A whole bunch of people sit around and argue that their opinion is somehow “more right” than someone else’s. I know there’s more to it than that. But this is the part that confuses me.
  • I have an obsession with Diet Coke.
  • A distant relative of mine (my dad’s uncle or something like that) won an Oscar for his work on a movie from the 40′s or 50′s.
  • I love just about anything having to do with startup companies.
  • I love Post-It notes.
  • When I was in 2nd grade a kid named Ryan jumped on my back and I fell forward and chipped one of my front teeth.  I’ve never bothered getting it fixed.
  • I recently (May 2010) finished my first 5K-ish event.  Warrior Dash.  I will be running it again in the future.
  • When I was 8, my mom picked me up from day care one day and told me that I had a niece.  My response was, “COOL! Does that make me an aunt or an uncle?”
  • I have met a total of 4 Pulitzer Prize winning composers.
  • I’m very direct.  This is both a blessing and a curse as I can sometimes come across as being abrasive or arrogant.  I’m really not though, I just don’t like wasting time trying to make bad news sound nicer.
  • I recently bought a Kindle and I love it.
  • I’m admittedly an Android (and Google in general) fanboy.  However, I rarely jump in the whole Apple vs Android debate because I think Apple has some amazing things going on as well.  There isn’t a “better” phone/mobile OS, just different flavors.
